[hexed strongly private to self] Maybe I'm just fooling myself.
I mean, yeah, I kissed her. We had ice cream and we went out on a date, sort of -- I cooked for her. That counts as a date, right? And I kissed her. And then I took her to the meeting, and that was... well, not a date, but I just wanted her to be bloody safe, and I knew she wasn't--I mean--she's not part of the Order! But then she doesn't say anything, and I don't know what to say. I didn't really want anyone else to come party with me, but what was I supposed to say? I don't know what to do.
Maybe she really doesn't like me. Probably she doesn't. I should just.. back off. I should just.. stop. [/hex]
Like I've said, Ben and Jerry's! Nothing like it. I'm such a bloody girl

When you were all kids, did you have the poppers?
I know I grew up on the Muggle culture, but I do assume you've all had the pleasure of pulling one of the bloody things and seeing the confetti explode out the other end. If you ever went to one of my birthday parties in the summer, you ought to have.
Well, there were about twenty of them in one of the drawers of my dresser.. and I was opening the thing to put some shirts away, only I pulled it a bit too far out?
Dropped straight on the ground, and smoke and confetti flew bloody everywhere.
Anyone for a party?

[hexed private to self] Hell yes.
As much as I know the Order is doing everything it can, as much as we know that we've got to rebuild the Ministry, normal life just seems so tedious sometimes. When it's too dangerous to go out alone at night, it just seems ridiculous to keep going to work and act like nothing's happening. For Maddy and Lav and the twins, yeah, I want them to have as much normalcy as they can until we can't anymore.. but it does seem like we're not preparing enough for the inevitable. Even with all the training.
So Dumbledore's Army. Hell. Yes. [/hex]
[hexed private to Padma] Are you still off to India in a few days? [/hex]
[hexed private to Madison]
I know you're not in the Orde I want to make sure you won't get hur Are you busy Sunday night? It's not exactly a date, but it's something important. [/hex]
Oi. I think we were just ding dong ditched.
Time to get out the water balloon catapult, Sea.

Wedding means playing dress-up. Eeeeeek. Be gentle, Lavender, be gentle! Also, Sea has awful morning breath. The fact that we were eating at one in the morning last night might have helped You might want to fix that.
[hexed private to Lavender] Girls like flowers, right?
.. How do they feel about carnivals? [/hex]
[hexed private to Seamus] Oi. When I get married, we can all wear blue jeans. [/hex]
Congratulations to the happy couple!

Merlin. That was... that was something else.

Wedding upcoming! Is the groom nervous? Is the bride hysterical? Does anyone need assistance?! Dean Thomas is at your service, hands, feet and all. Set me a task, I've the next few hours free from commitment as far as I know, someone feel free to occupy my time.
I can fold napkins in the shape of a quite elegant swan. Are swans appropriate for weddings? I wonder if we could animate them. Couldn't very well do it for my sister's wedding, the Muggles and all that, but still.

Y'know, I really rather miss snow. I know it's cold and piles up outside your door and can be a nuisance, but every sunny day, I wake up and look outside and think to myself that it would be much nicer were it all covered in white powder. Anybody else for a trip to Siberia?
[hexed against Madison] Also, anybody know how long should a guy typically wait after a sort-of date to ask a girl on an actual date, without appearing.. overeager? Or waiting too long, I guess. Are there rules for that sort of thing? [/hex]

Wizarding world or not, I swear there's still nothing like Ben and Jerry's ice cream. I got hooked when I was five - my da's got the nice big belly to prove that Thomas boys eat well - and I've searched everywhere for something to replace the cravings, but nothing comes close. Muggle world officially trumps in the sugary treats arena.
[hexed private to Hermione] Holding up all right, then? [/hex]
[hexed private to self] All right, mate. When you have to update your journal about ice cream, it's time to get a girl. [/hex]
Double chocolate, anyone?

Oi, somebody tell me, what would be the point of breeding glumbumbles with puffskeins?
We've got this nutter who thinks creating a fluffy little ball that leaks unhappiness - the fluff from the puffskeins, the melancholy from the glumbumble obviously - could be all the rage. He's been to our office four times in the past two weeks, and I don't know if I can explain one more time why we don't allow experimental breeding. Seriously. It would be a big, gloomy beetle with fur coming out its ears. Look more like a fuzzy pompom than anything. Am I crazy or this is absolutely mental?
And for the record, I shave my head for exactly that reason. How are you, mate?

[hexed against DE/DE Support] Oi. Can anyone tell me what a ghoul's fascination with disgusting places is? I've dragged them out of sewer pipes, overflowing toilets, and a particularly disturbing one out of a bear's corpse and I still can't get used to it. Sometimes I think they're just bored and want to have a good laugh at the looks on our faces when we come to stop them from disturbing the peace. Or maybe they like scaring the Muggles who find them. I don't know. If anyone can ever manage to get inside their heads, feel free to enlighten me.
I've got tomorrow off, thank Merlin, and although I certainly need a shower after that last encounter, I promise to be fresh and squeaky clean if anyone wants to do something tomorrow afternoon? I might have plans for the evening, assuming Vati isn't busy.. [/hex]
[hexed private to Parvati] May I request your company tomorrow evening? [/hex]

I'm so sorry I didn't make it to the game: the boss ended up coming in, so I couldn't exactly edge out in front of him, even to catch the tail end of the game. Though I did hear there was a grand surprise! Congratulations to Oliver and Alicia! Merlin, how many couples do I know who are engaged now? I guess the spring really does make people especially twitterpated. Reminds me that I don't even have a girlfriend
[hexed private to Parvati] I know it's terrible of me to have waited so long to get around to this, but...I don't suppose you'd want to go out again sometime? I understand if not, but I thought I'd ask and at least get it over with. just let me know. Merlin, I sound like a rambling idiot. [/hex]

[hexed to Order] All right, so I'm a royal git.
I'll start by apologizing for jumping all over Bill and Remus. Probably would've been more appropriate to send them a message back, but I figure I made my comment in public so I ought to apologize in public. I'll definitely agree that it wasn't my place: I'm hoping I'm not the only one who's ever been emotional and idiotic, though if I am, I wouldn't be surprised. As Remus said to me in response, I took it personally, and I shouldn't have. And I apologize.
I'm not even going to acknowledge Roger
All right then, bring on the curse words. I'm ready, and I probably deserve them. [/hex]

[hexed very private to Order] Seamus is staying with me now; I went and picked him up a few hours ago. I cast all the protective spells I know, but anything else that anybody can think of is welcome. Everybody keep on their toes. Rian isn't getting in over here, but I don't want him striking anywhere else either. [/hex]
[hexed private to Lavender] Lav, rain check on that dinner? I think Seamus needs somebody here with him tonight. You could come over too, if you like. I don't want Rian trying to get to yo I'm sure he'd be glad to see you. [/hex]

I rather think there's hope left for the world sometimes.
With all the deaths and surprise revivals disappearances and all the evil residing in the world as we know it, you'd think you wouldn't be able to find beauty in the small things, but I guess that's not really true.
Oh, I went and saw my niece today for the first time. She's crazy small. I wasn't really listening when Delilah (er, that's my sister) listed off her stats, weight and length and such, but she's titchy enough that she can't wrap her entire fist around my first finger. Nicola Isabelle Perry, that's her name. A baby as cute as that would make anybody want one. Wonder which of us will
Thought I'd share that, a creation of a life instead of snuffing one out. Good news and all that.
